K2 Cares delivers thousands of pounds of Grocery Items to Rushford Minnesota families still displaced by the flood from their homes.
Eagan, Minnesota; November 19, 2007: K2 Logistics and dozens of Metro area Girl Scout troops completed a successful Thanksgiving food drive. It's been three months since a devastating flood in Southwest Minnesota nearly washed away the town of Rushford. Hundreds of families are still busy rebuilding and have not yet been able to return to their homes. But thanks to the charitable efforts of Metro Area Girl Scouts and transportation partner K2 Logistics - many of those Rushford families will be delivered special Thanksgiving care packages that include grocery bags stuffed with food items and cards with well wishes..
